This was inspired by the latest journal from =Foxfires seen here : [link]

I recently read a book (will publish more about this in my journal) which had a little part set in India. The colours and smells described were fantastical so i really wanted to capture this sense of the exoctic and mysterious in my next piece.

Plus the Bird and Butterfly is one of my short stories i am writing. It's kind of like the "Owl and the Pussy Cat" but...different....lol...

beautiful colors! books are always a great source of inspiration :)
I remember reading a book about India with lots of description... I think it was called "The Mango Season." I think it was a pretty good book.

I must say I love the colours, they are an outstanding feature here. But I love the light even more, it has a very special quality, it reaches everywhere and yet seems to respect the secrets hidden beyond the bright surface. I'd say the relationship between the Bird and the Butterfly is essentially secret, something we have to feel rather than see and understand with our logic. Beautiful work.
