This journal is a massive thank you to those people who have made this Christmas/New Year period an amazing experience. I am forever astonished by the kindness of people on DA, their love of art and their dedication to the site. I've been a member for over six years now and I have never felt that the community spirit has been stronger. It's very special to see and be a part of so thank you. However, as I have mentioned there has been two things that has spurred me to writethis journal and I will go into them here to say a specific thank you to those people who made it possible.

Firstly, I was the lucky recipient of a three month subscription this Christmas given by `JoseFelipeM as part of his 100 Premium Membership; 63,00 points project.Not only do I think this is an incredible thing to do but also amazingly generous and wonderfully uplifiting for the community. I was so suprised to have been a recipient, it really spread some joy. The reason I recieved a subscription was thanks to a suggestion by the lovely *mimose-stock. I read her comment about me and felt genuinly touched! Thank you so much. Just as an afternote I would like to congratulate `JoseFelipeM for getting the deviousness award for January 2013. After what I've seen him do within the community I think this was a justified and wonderful choice. Congrats!

Secondly, I logged on today aiming to thank the two people mentioned above for their generous support when I realised I had a mad amount of messages I didn't remember having before. After clicking through some of my comments I found out I had been awarded my second DD, the first of 2013!!!!



Again, I am amazingly happy and incredibly grateful both to amazingly talented *Aelathen who suggested me and the gorgeous ^SanguineVamp for featuring me. I couldn't believe it (still don't )! The funny thing was I was making a texture based tutorial for the piece that got featured and abandoned it because I convinced myself that nobody would read it. So not only do I thank you fo bestowing this honour on me but also for restoring my faith in my work. Thank you so much!

So, thank you all for making my Christmas/New Year special. I'm not sure I have earnt it but I will endeaver to deserve it.
